Helpful for thermal bed to solve the problem of overload current and current load, it can well protect the connectors on the controller board before burning.
With the heat sink power module to your controller board, it can increase the maximum current up to 25A.
Under the condition of normal cooling, it works stably under I (Max) = 25A, the current must NOT exceed 25A during the working process.
It can be used in both Chitu motherboards and other open 3D printer motherboards.
If you intend to use heated bed for your 3D printer with a 12V power supply, then this module is recommended, else it may cause excessive current during the times, it can well protect the connectors on the controller board from burning.
If you need anything bigger or equal to 15A, this module is a must part!
For example, if the total power consumption is 240W and you have 12V power supply, then it means at least 20A is needed (20 x 12 = 240W).
As ChiTu controller board is only capable of 15A, this setting won't work. So you need this extra power module to make it work!
